Artist's Comments

This character is very nasty. He tickles you to death. Occasionally people are found out on the ice or on the land frozen to death with smiles on their faces.
This legend addresses that bizarre fact - very weird and very scary.

It is time for us to stand and cheer for the doer, the achiever, the one who recognizes the challenge and does something about it

I always liked folklore. And I think it's beautiful to read how (often native)people associate strange occurrences with supernatural being(s).

You make some very good art, and with the story it becomes even better!

What an awesome demon. The fact is that many people who die in hypothermia dies with almost all their cloths of. It's 'cuz when you go down in temperature to about 35 degrees Celsius your brain starts totally runs out of control. It makes you believe that you are hot, so you start undressing 'cuz you're sweating. You also become euphoric therefore the smile on hypothermia victims.
GREAT piece by the way. So maybe the legend is true after all.
You're awesome brother

Interesting composition Larry; a straight off diagonal with nothing but space in one half? I'll try that sometime. The feeling it gives, does compliment the feelings of fear and madness and doom that I get from that thing's face as it watches me try to get away.

Superb!

Will you walk into my parlour? said the spider to the fly
Tis the prettiest little parlour that ever you did spy,
The way into my parlour is up a winding stair,
And I've a many curious things to shew when you are there.
