Do you mind if I ask: it looks to me like you lay your colours down straight over your pencils, rather than inking your lines... is that right? And do you do much shading with your pencils before hand or do you just leave the value work to the colouring stage?

What I normally do is lay the tones in first with sepia watercolour and then put the colours in the open spaces and finish with pencil crayons - not much with pencils.
