Hi Dawn - Gouache is opaque water colour, which is to say that it IS water colour but you can use it like oil.

brilliant work here.. your sense of proportion in the old woman is amazing. i especially like the way her giant hand dwarfs the little walking stick, and the expression on the young lady's face. makes me want to learn gouache a little better. :)

:clap: lovely troll, this. neat and ugly at the same time. just as trolls are. they have to be that way. very nicely detailed.

nearly unfair, that you constantly show artwork, where nothin' is left which might be critiziceable. i luv to leave some critique.
